Verify the clinician and plan
- Ask who will perform surgery and who will design and deliver the final restoration.
- Request current license, specialty, and professional-membership documentation.
- Confirm that the final plan follows clinical examination and appropriate imaging.
- Ask for the implant manufacturer, components, and an implant record after treatment.
Review infection control and sedation
Ask how instruments are sterilized, how surgical areas are prepared, and how implant lots are tracked. If sedation is planned, ask who administers it, what monitoring is used, what fasting rules apply, and whether an escort is required.
Understand the two-visit timeline
Full-arch surgery and temporary teeth may occur during the first visit for qualifying patients. Final restorations are commonly delivered after a healing period and a return visit. Immediate fixed temporary teeth are not appropriate for every patient.
Plan for complications
Ask what is covered if an implant fails, a temporary tooth breaks, the bite needs adjustment, or a final bridge requires repair after you return home. Travel and outside-dentist fees may not be included.

Review current government travel and border information, keep emergency contacts, and use normal precautions. No clinic can guarantee that travel or surgery is risk-free.
